The Social Center in Barbalha

There are 30 girls ages 11-15 who come to the center everyday. They are girls who come from extremely dysfunctional families and high poverty areas. They are studying how to make handicrafts. They then are able to sell these products to help their poor families. The materials used to create the handicrafts are purchased through donations from benefactors. Donations also cover the cost of meals and maintenance of the center. While there the girls also learn to play instruments and sing.
