Holy Cross Convent was established on August 15, 2018, with the invitation of  Bishop Walker Nickless of the Diocese of Sioux City. The sisters' main work is to minister to Holy Cross parish and the people of the Sioux City Diocese, as well as being a prayerful presence. Holy Cross Parish consists of St. Michael's and Blessed Sacrament Church. Some of the ministries the sisters are involved in are:

-Home bound Visiting

-Spiritual Direction

-Youth Ministry

-Adult Formation

-Pastoral Ministries
